Custom Batman Shoes

Converse has taken their sweet DC shoes to a new level–in a couple weeks, you’ll be able to get custom-order shoes featuring Batman, Catwoman, Riddler, and Joker prints and corresponding colors. Put the print wherever you want, change the colors of the racing stripes, eyelets and more, and even “tag” it with your ID. I’m eyeing this Catwoman print–which one would you get?

Cinderella’s Glass Slippers IRL

Marc Jacobs made one of our childhood dreams come true: He created a pair of shoes reminiscent of Cinderella’s glass slippers.

My only fear is that these would look like jellies when on. And/or that it would show your feet all scrunched up at the front, which would be less than appealing.

Still, these would be pretty awesome under a wedding dress for those who have always wanted to feel like a princess.

Hello Kitty Shoes for Grown-Ups

Every once in a while, I’ll see a little girl with amazing Hello Kitty shoes on and think, “How come they don’t make those in an adult size 9?”

Twenty10 Footwear apparently heard my cries and are now selling some amazing Hello Kitty shoes on Fab.com.

The shoes range in price from $45-$65 and include boots, sneakers, flats, and heels. I’m in love with the Luisa Peep Toe Red, as shown above. It’s sassier than you usually expect Hello Kitty to be.

Check out all of the shoes available here and let me know which your faves are!

Become a Capitol Stylist For the Hunger Games!

The Hunger Games have been doing an amazing job with their marketing, especially through their fashion and culture blog, Capitol Culture. They’ve been profiling characters from the movie along with real-life designers to create a realistic portrayal of the Capitol. Taking it one step further, they’re holding design contests for wannabe Capitol designers. The first was a shoe design contest, where the winner received a pair of shoes. Today, the next contest was announced: makeup. Design your best makeup look for the Capitol (or your favorite District), and you’ll be entered to win a MAC giftcard. Pretty sweet! See all the info in the email below:

Find out more by visiting http://capitolcouture.pn/. And don’t forget to grab your tickets to the midnight showing of The Hunger Games before they sell out!
