Ask Your Doctor About Tacos

Depressed that it’s still not quite Spring yet? Taxes are due in a week? Allow me to introduce you to tacos. Also, it’s Taco Tuesday (get it, because it’s an alliteration), so that’s more of an excuse than I normally need.

BRB, tacos.

(Don’t have time for a whole taco? Grab a new bag of Doritos Locos Tacos Doritos. Or something. It’s some sort of scary, delicious loop that I am ready to try.)

One Up Makeup: Honey Boo Boo

As I’ve mentioned before, my friends and I have started a new geeky makeup channel, One Up Makeup. The lovely Meagan did my makeup for me recently and made me all “glitz”, Honey Boo Boo-style. I made the mistake of drinking a whole lot of Go Go Juice before we started. Take a peek:

Want to make your own Go Go Juice so you can have obnoxious giggle fits while your friends are trying to concentrate? It’s super simple, just a combination of Mountain Dew and Red Bull. I did 2 parts Mountain Dew and 1 part Red Bull so as not to go overboard. It pairs well with Pixy Stix.

We’ll be getting together this Sunday to film a few more videos. What makeup looks would you like to see us do in the future?

Well, I never thought I’d type that word into a Geeky Hostess post. Anyway, the newest Satire video takes a look at how adults would use the word “YOLO,” and features lil ol’ me! How To Tie a Bow Tie

Chris Hardwick and Bill Nye teach you how to tie a bow tie. What more could you want?

I overheard two gentlemen comparing tips on tying bow ties at a wedding this past weekend. It made me wonder if they’ve watched this video.

Are you a bow tie wearer? If so, I’d love to know how difficult tying a bow tie is compared to a normal tie! It’s certainly much cooler. Let me know in the comments.
