  1. Great list! I’m gonna force my students to celebrate with me!!!

  2. Awesome list! Its reasons like this that you are one of my favorite blogs. Happy New Year! 🙂

  3. Criswell The Weatherman

I think you missed two important days

May 24 – Talk like Bob Dylan day (also his birthday)

May 21 Yoda Talk like day it is? Hmmmmm???????? (also the release date of Star Wars episode 5 – Empire Strikes Back – where we first met the master syntax and grammar mangler

  4. You’ve got Ray Bradbury’s birthday on there twice (July & August). I think August 22 is the correct date!

  5. Eep! Thanks for that catch–it’s fixed!

  6. Nice list so far. Would you like some Doctor’s birthdays?

    Christopher Eccleston: 2/16
    David Tennant: 4/18
    Matt Smith: 10/28
    Peter Capaldi: 4/14

    and let’s throw in

    Karen Gillan: 11/28

    Cheers! 🙂
